Donna is a managing lawyer in the immigration practice of Vialto Partners in Toronto. Vialto is the world's first tech-enabled global mobility law firm focused on cross-border compliance for tax, immigration, business travel, rewards and compensation, and remote work. 

Donna graduated from York University with honours and received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Windsor Law. Before joining Vialto, Donna practised criminal and refugee law with leading firms in Toronto appearing before the Immigration and Refugee Board, Ontario Court of Justice and the Federal Court of Canada. 

Donna has served as a contributing instructor to the Seneca College immigration law course and continues to provide immigration information seminars to corporate counsel, human resource professionals and leaders throughout corporate Canada. 

Donna is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association Citizenship and Immigration Section and the Canadian Employee Relocation Council.

Advice I'd tell my younger self: Don’t be afraid to try new things and get uncomfortable - that’s where the change and growth happen! Remember that sometimes rejection is redirection so keep working hard and staying motivated.

A woman who inspires me: Miriam Wise - a holocaust survivor who despite the trauma and atrocities she barely survived, lived her life offering unconditional love and care to her spouse, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. She could connect with anyone without judgment and was a brilliant woman who could turn any conversation into an erudite discussion. She was a magnificent beauty inside and out.
