Rebecca is a second-year student at NYU College of Dentistry. She majored in Sociology at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada and took dental school prerequisites as electives. Rebecca is combining her interests in Sociology and Dentistry through research examining the oral health of underprivileged pregnant women. In her spare time, Rebecca loves to be with her friends, explore restaurants, and listen to music.
Advice I'd tell my younger self: Take a deep breath and trust the process. Your hard work will pay off.
A woman who inspires me: My mom inspires me because she has three adult children and she is in school working toward a doctorate degree in developmental education. You do not need to take a traditional route to achieve your goals.
